David Chmielewski founded Blackhoof Development in 2005 after 11 years working in government, private consulting and real estate development.  David is an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota and holds a Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture. 

The creation of this company is a reflection of his mission to offer a full service approach to real estate development.  His experience has given him a full range of skills including, financial and market analysis, site planning and development, building design and construction, graphic illustration, wetland delineation, and permitting.   

Perhaps the most important trait that David brings to the table is a Midwestern work ethic and willingness to work hard for his clients and investors.
